Naomi & Pearl makes our cookies, candy apples, and other desserts to order. Because our products are custom and/or perishable food items, we do not accept returns. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us promptly so we can review the situation.

Damaged or Unusable Orders

If you receive a product in unusable condition for reasons other than temperature extremes, contact us within 24 hours of verified delivery. Claims submitted after 24 hours cannot be honored.

Please include clear photographs showing the condition of the shipment and the damaged desserts. To help us review your claim:

1. Photograph the outside of the shipping box before discarding it.
2. Photograph the desserts and interior packaging before removing the items from the box.
3. Photograph each damaged packaged item after removing it from the shipping box.
4. If the desserts are inside a presentation box, open the lid and photograph the contents before touching or removing them.
5. Email the photographs and your request for review to sales@naomiandpearl.com.

Please do not discard, consume, or alter the damaged items until the photographs are complete and we have the information needed to review the claim. If the product and packaging have been discarded before documentation is provided, we may be unable to issue a refund, credit, or replacement.

Carrier Damage and Delivery Issues

If the shipping box shows visible carrier damage, please photograph the damage and notify the carrier as well as Naomi & Pearl.

Because our desserts are delicate and perishable, we cannot guarantee product quality when a shipment is refused, not received at delivery, left unretrieved after delivery, or otherwise delayed because the recipient was unavailable.

Temperature-Related Damage

Temperature extremes can affect certain desserts during transit. Claims based solely on heat or temperature exposure are not covered under the damaged-order policy above. Please review our Shipping Policy for information about warm-weather shipping and optional ice packs available from May through October.

Custom & Perishable Orders

All Naomi & Pearl desserts are made to order and are perishable. Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase for a full refund.

After production begins—typically within 24 hours of payment—the order is considered final and non-refundable. This includes custom, personalized, branded, and made-to-order desserts.

Approved Refunds, Credits, or Replacements

After reviewing a timely claim and the supporting photographs, Naomi & Pearl will determine the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances. When a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Processing time after issuance is controlled by the customer’s bank or payment provider.

Applicable Law

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
