Some Helpful Facts

Your treats may melt if the weather is above 70°F — take precautions!
During warmer months, please make sure someone is available to accept your delivery. If no one is home, the carrier may leave the package outside, and heat or ants can quickly cause damage. You can always have your order delivered to a different address or workplace if that’s safer.

Add ice packs for protection.
You’ll see an ice pack option available at checkout. We recommend adding it when shipping to warm climates or during summer months.

We Can’t Guarantee Weather-Proof Perfection

We monitor temperature in our kitchens constantly and ship all desserts in excellent condition. However, once packages leave our facility, weather and transit conditions are out of our control. We can’t guarantee everything will arrive looking perfect, though we take every reasonable precaution.

Ice packs and insulated sleeves help protect your order for up to two days when temperatures exceed 70°F. In 80°F or higher weather, ice packs may last only about 24 hours, so please plan accordingly.

Creating Your Sweets

All Naomi & Pearl desserts are made-to-order. We begin production once your order is placed.
We accept new orders Monday through Thursday and ship on Fridays and Mondays. Please allow approximately 3–4 days for completion. We do not offer same-day service.

Local customers may request pickup by email; pickups are available Friday through Monday between 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. Larger orders (25 + items) should be scheduled in advance — we’ll prepare a separate invoice.

Cool-Weather Shipping (October – March)

When temperatures are below 70°F, ice packs may not be necessary. We’ll reach out if a warm spell appears that could affect your shipment.

Storing Your Sweets After They Arrive

Keep chocolate in a cool, dry place (60–65°F). Warm or fluctuating temperatures can cause “bloom,” a harmless white film that affects texture but not safety.

Important Notice – Cancellations & Refunds

Because all Naomi & Pearl desserts are custom-made and perishable, orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase for a full refund.
After production begins — typically within 24 hours of payment — sales are final and non-refundable.
This policy aligns with Maryland’s COMAR 02.01.05 regulations for refund disclosure on custom perishable goods.
