Saint Patrick's Day Celebration

St. Patrick’s Day, celebrated every year on March 17th, honors St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. While originally a religious feast day, the holiday has grown into a global celebration of Irish heritage, filled with festive parades, the wearing of green, and, of course, delicious treats! St. Patrick is said to have brought Christianity to Ireland and used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity, which is why the symbol remains so closely tied to the holiday.
